The 9060 is a new interpretation of the refined style and innovation-driven design that has made the 99X series one of the most iconic models in New Balance history. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements of the well-known 99X models while taking inspiration from the futuristic, visible aesthetic of the Y2K era. Stabilizers inherited from the 990 have been extended and used throughout the upper to provide a sense of visible movement, while wavy lines and scaled down proportions on a molded pod midsole emphasize familiar ABZORB and SBS cushioning systems.
